Hello! Long time no speak. I've had a lot of things happening, so I haven't really had the time to write a post. The last one left on a sour note, I was quite angry, but now I am really excited and have a lot to say. So this post will have many sections. I hope you enjoy. First, I will share a song with you. This one is called Natsuyasumi wa Owaranai ("Summer Vacation Never Ends", roughly.)

This is a live version. In the studio version, this song is sung by Marina, Yukiko, Kazuko and Ruriko, but in the live version Kazuko is replaced by Shizuka Kudo. Although I like the studio version, I usually listen to the live version for this specific reason. Shizuka Kudo has a very strong voice that demands your attention. She could honestly sing the whole song by herself and I'd be very happy. There is a reason why she was so popular after Onyanko Club's disbandment!

Besides that. This is a very cute summer song. It feels very intense like the sun. Marina and Yukiko are two of my favorite members so I'm always happy to hear them sing together. Everyone's solo moments are really nice... Yukiko very cute, Marina very beautiful, Shizuka very powerful, Ruriko very intense. This is also just a fun performance, one thing I like about Onyanko Club is that even when there are main vocalists designated to lead the song, everyone in the group is still participating and singing along. I feel like it gives the lesser known members a chance to be included as well, since a lot of Onyanko Club members never really got to lead any of the songs, and did not get the chance to debut solo. Sad...

On the topic of Shizuka: I really like her, she is quickly rising in the ranks of favorite Onyankos. She is very cool, like I have a crush on her... I like her song, Mugo~n Iroppoi. She also has some cool Eurobeat remixes. I always come back to this quote on her wikipedia page. She says this about her time in Onyanko Club: "It was a great experience, with good, bad and really dirty things." I wonder what the dirty things were...

Speaking of summer, I will talk about my first topic. SFW: Second Life Summer

Things have been very active and exciting on SL lately. First, I've been working hard at Mouse Club. If you somehow found this blog but don't know me on Second Life, I host a weekly club meeting called Mouse Club, where we appreciate the things we like and talk about them with everyone. It's very straightforward. We meet on Sundays. Throughout June, we worked on a community art project and made a mural. It's on display at the clubhouse. Here it is here, as well.

We worked very hard. I loved seeing everyone's wonderful art and avis. I hope to host more exciting mini-things like this soon. I know that fall will be exciting for Mouse Club. I want to host a costume party for Halloween, and I am very stoked for the Fall edition of Super Mouse Club. I'll have to start brainstorming for that soon!

I've also been attending some fun events that I don't host. Late June was the Conejo Island summer festival. I don't have a lot to say, besides that it was really fun. I loved sitting around on the beach with my friends and making sand animals out of prims, and I loved boinging around with everyone on the dance floor. Conejo is home to some very talented musicians and DJs. It felt special to be close to everyone. Sofa is my friend and she is owner of Conejo Island, and she works very hard.

I'm also preparing for the summer festival at Suzu Shrine as well, owned by my friend Wei. She is also very hard working. I will be staff as well as a DJ there. My DJing is mediocre, so it is a humble prerecorded set of Eurobeat and Denpa and Weird Stuff I Like Off Of Nico Nico Douga. And an hour long playlist of Kayokyoku. So look forward to that. Please come by if you like fun with friends.

Second Life is like my other home, where I get to run around as a mouse in enticing bloomers, so I am thankful for the fun times lately. Here is to many more.

NSFW: Mundane and Apathetic

Were you saying something?

Well, I think clothes can often be very sexual. Even when they are quite normal, and not risque at all.... the big t-shirt is an example of this. Big t-shirt + underwear is 1. very comfortable and 2. very cute. Big t-shirt may cover you temporarily, but then you lift your arms up... and there is a surprise. Pictured above is my summer festival outfit (Summer hat, Onyanko Club t-shirt, white underwear).

This image is really fun. Lynn (my avi) is really fun to pose and put in situations due to their lack of enthusiam and outward emotion about anything. Like "Yes... I guess you can see my underwear, huh." Lynn does not really care about anyone's opinion besides those they are directly involved with, so they often don't really care about anything embarassing and don't really feel shy. Lately I have embodied this. At work, I have such a lack of interest in my newest trainee that I kind of just say whatever (within reason) and don't really care about acting weird. Very unmasked. However if my manager came in I would go into Perfect Lynn Mode. It's interesting.

But back to the dirty part of it... I like apathy about these sorts of things. I like the idea of sitting around nude or being put in a compromising or provocative situation and just being like "Ehhhh" about it. It makes you want a reaction, right? Later down the line, when you do get to see them emotional and out of sorts, it's much more exciting! Juxtaposition... gap moe... I like these things.

And theres levels to it. There is apathy, but there is also obliviousness, there is being aware but playing coy, or really not caring at all... Obliviousness is especially fun for me. It is slightly pitiful. Being Compromised, or in a Situation and just :D about it.

Thanks for reading. That's all I really have to say for now. I'll try to post more often, because I want to. I'll be going on a convention adventure in a couple weeks which will make for a fun post, and I'd also like to talk more about my favorite Onyankos. Bye now!
